These SMS / Messaging Terms govern text messages and automated or AI-assisted voice calls you may receive from Richards & Richards Law Firm, PLLC (“the Firm,” “we,” “us”). They supplement our Privacy Policy. By checking the optional consent box on our contact form, you agree to these terms.
The program
If you opt in, we may contact you at the phone number you provided about your inquiry, your consultation, and our legal services. Messages may be sent using automated text messaging and by autodialed, prerecorded, or AI-assisted voice technology.
Consent is voluntary
Your consent is not a condition of hiring the Firm or of scheduling a consultation. You can still request a callback, call us, or email us without opting in to automated messaging. We will still return your inquiry the normal way (a person calling you back within 24 business hours).
Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on your inquiry and your matter.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. The Firm does not charge for the messages themselves.
How to opt out
You can withdraw your consent at any time. Reply STOP to any text message to cancel automated messages. After you send STOP, we will send one confirmation message and then stop sending automated texts to that number. For help, reply HELP or call us at 801-528-9357. You may also revoke consent for automated voice calls by telling us, in any reasonable way, that you no longer wish to receive them.
Carrier disclaimer
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy and confidentiality
Please do not send confidential case details by text. Texting is for scheduling and general updates — not legal advice, and a text exchange does not create an attorney–client relationship. Information you submit is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
Eligibility
You must be the subscriber or customary user of the phone number you provide, and at least 18 years old, to opt in.
Changes
We may update these terms; the “last updated” date above reflects the current version. Material changes will be posted on this page.
